In this story from March 8 of this year, I was live from just outside a sports complex where there have been multiple shootings in the last several years. It was an interesting story for me because not many people wanted to talk about it. I spoke with several officials on the phone, many of whom told me about the tough, and very sensitive issues involved in the case. The suspects in the case had a very different opinion from the police and the victims wouldn't speak to anyone--authorities or reporters. In this live shot I tried to explain to the viewers in a fair, yet honest way what was going on.
On November 10 around 10 a.m., Jefferson City Police responded to call from a government office building, describing a possible hostage situation.
After several hours of being stuck in the building, authorities evacuated the building and SWAT teams checked it for any suspicious activity. I was at the 4 p.m. press conference and then live at the top of the 5 with the latest information.
In this live report I show viewers the difference between a high speed railway and the typical setup found in Missouri. The state applied for money from the federal government to fund the rail improvement projects.
