In 2017, Emily started Emily Rau Consulting, a communications firm offering media training and strategy solutions for individuals and organizations.
Emily started ERC as a way to help other journalists navigate the industry and accelerate their careers. She's worked with reporters and anchors to improve their on-air performance, storytelling and resume reels. She also offers personalized career coaching to help clients jump from small and mid-markets to land their dream jobs in major cities. In addition to journalism clients, ERC has expanded to offer marketing, communications and PR services to organizations and companies in the St. Louis area. Emily uses her extensive knowledge of the local media market to propel client objectives and bolster community engagement. ERC also offers media training for entrepreneurs, executives and emerging thought leaders. |
